Obituary of Deanna T. Nailor

Deanna T. Nailor, 88, of Carlisle, passed away on February 19, 2026, at Sarah Todd Memorial Home. Born June 5, 1937, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William R. Orr and Helen (Clemens) Orr. Deanna worked in custodial services at Dickinson College for many years. She was a member of the VFW Post in Mechanicsburg and the American Legion in Mechanicsburg. She especially enjoyed watching western television shows, particularly Bonanza, camping, spending time at the beach, and cherishing time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Nailor, Sr.; her sons, Dennis Nailor and Frank J. Nailor; her daughter, Teresa Domingue; grandson Chad Domingue; her sister, Janet Handshaw; and her brothers, David Orr and Eugene Orr. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Nailor, Jr., wife Linda, of Enola; her sister, Linda Wood of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Jennifer Peffer, Christopher Domingue, David Domingue, and Stacy Woolard; and her great-grandchildren, Zoey Peffer, Addyson Domingue, Brody Domingue, and Tanner Domingue. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a breast cancer organization of the donor’s choice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home for their compassionate care.
