Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Shubart

Mary Elizabeth Shubart 60; of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania transitioned peacefully on March 24, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was surrounded by her daughters as she moved forward to her next phase of life. For 20 years, she worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Troop H State police headquarters in the firearms division. She is survived by her mother Shirley Shubart, sisters Catherine and Carrie Shubart; and brothers Edward and William Shubart; her daughters April Brown, MSgt Donna Taylor-Tillet, and Wyonella Brenneman; son-in laws Trevor Taylor-Tillet and Jamie Brenneman. She also leaves behind six granddaughters Donnella, Jaliah, Aviana, Angelia, Kayla, and Aria; and a host of additional family and friends. A celebration of her life and fighting spirit will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019. There will be a viewing from 4-6pm, at Dailey Funeral Home located at 650 South 28th Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Following the viewing the family will hold a repass at Candle Wood Suites, 413 Port View Drive, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. All are welcome to come share memories of this tiny superwoman.
