Obituary of Barbara A. Bratina

Barbara A. Bratina, 83, of Penbrook passed away at her home on November 29, 2015. She was born in Alexandria, VA and lived most of her life in Penbrook, PA. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Louis J. Bratina, Jr. She was a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1950; and was a former member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She and her husband, Louis were one of the first husband and wife teams of Eucharistic Ministers. She retired from Tyco as a Quality Control Technician, and had also worked at Olivetti Corp. for 15 years. She was currently employed part time at Unique Home Care. She is survived by her children, Patricia A. Noblet (Michael) and a son, Robert Bratina (Debra); 3 grandchildren, Jessica Bomgardner (Bruce),Troy Noblet, and Ryan Noblet; and a great grandson, Henry Louis Bomgardner. Visitation will be on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Catherine Laboure Church.
