Obituary of Nicodemo Gulluni

Mr. Nicodemo "Nick" Gulluni passed away in Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at the age of 85. Mr. Gulluni is survived by his brother Gennaro Gulluni of Harrisburg, PA; his sister, Yolanda Pazzano of Linglestown, PA; three nieces: Rita Taylor of Hershey, PA; Aurora Smith of New Cumberland, PA; Carmela Scamardella of New Oxford, PA; three grand nieces and six grand nephews.. He is preceded in death by his nephew Nicodemo Pazzano of Linglestown, PA. Mr. Gulluni was born on 09/19/1929 in Mammola, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Domenico Antonio Gulluni and Maria Carmela Pazzano. He spent time as a barber in Genoa, Italy before coming to the Untied States in 1960. He owned and operated Nick's Barber Shop in downtown Harrisburg until his retirement. He spent his last years in residence at the Ecumenical Retirement Community in Harrisburg, PA. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Allentown Blvd. in Harrisburg. A period of visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am, with a luncheon to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nicodemo Gulluni's life.
