Obituary of Patricia J. Dwyer

Patricia Jane (Downes) Dwyer 86, of Harrisburg, PA.; passed away after a brief illness on August 16, 2015 with her family at her side. Born on October 13, 1928 in South Ashburnham, MA., She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Rowena I. (Howe) Downs of Watertown, MA. She was predeceased by four sisters. She was a devoted wife to the late John Michael Dwyer who passed away on July 18, 2015. They had been married for nearly 66 years. Patricia was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alaoque Catholic Church for 43 years and was a member of the choir for 29 years. She also belonged to the Golden Years Club for many years. She also belonged to the Coffee Cup Club at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church for several years. She enjoyed the Senior Aquatics Club for 15 years. Surviving Patricia is her loving daughters, Ellen R. Dwyer of Harrisburg, MaryAnn Schoon of CT; four grandchildren; Kerry DeCosta-Steussie and husband David of CA, Andrew DeCosta of RI, Adam Parys of NH. and Abbie Gottsche of CT. and 3 Great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. A viewing will be held from 11 to 12 P.M. in the church.
