Obituary of Robert C. McBride

Robert C. McBride, 81, of Wrightsville passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Lebanon Veterans Medical Center. Born August 13, 1933 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Cleon and Martha (Smith) McBride. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. McBride will be held graveside on Friday, March 29, 2015 at 11:30am, located within Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia. Pastor Bobby Spade will be officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Lancaster County Red Rose Honor Guard. Mr. McBride is survived by two sons, Rory McBride of Wrightsville and Randy McBride of Columbia, two grandchildren, Katarina McBride and Leland McBride, two sisters, Gloria Grouso of Florida and Cleona Meisenbach of Columbia, and a brother, James McBride of York. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was a member of the Marietta American Legion Post #466.
