Obituary of Robert D. Herman

Robert D. Herman Sr., 71 of Lower Paxton Twp.; passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Life Care Hospital Mechanicsburg, PA. He was born on August 31, 1944 in Harrisburg and was a son to the late Elmer W. and Roseana (Care) Herman. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ of Grantville, A 50 year member of Steelton Swatara Masonic Lodge 775, Perseverance Royal Arch Chap. 21, Harrisburg Consistory, Tall Cedars Forest 43. Bob loved of the Christmas season especially putting up Christmas lights. Surviving are his loving wife Connie Y. Herman, a son, Robert D. Herman Jr., Samantha the family dog, nephew James W. Jr., and wife Donna W. Herman. In addition to his parents Bob was predeceased by his brother James W. Herman Sr. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dailey Funeral Home. Family and Friends may visit from 10 to 11 A.M. in the funeral home. A Masonic Service will begin at 10:45 A.M. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Contributions may be made to Faith United Church Of Christ 117 N.
