Obituary of S. Jane McFadden

S. Jane McFadden, 89, of Harrisburg passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Homeland Center in Harrisburg. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter to the late Joseph and Gertrude Weitzel. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. (Rudy) McFadden in May of 2001. They were married on February 15, 1947. Jane was also preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph, John, Pauline, Thomas, Joan, William, and George. She was a retired secretary with the Commonwealth of PA Dept. of Probation and Parole, and enjoyed knitting, reading, and the New Jersey beach. She was a life-long member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Harrisburg PA. Surviving are her children, Rev. J. Michael McFadden, Pastor, St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland, PA, Kathleen Moul (Pete), Karen Stefanic (Thomas), Patricia Yoder (Thomas), William (Karen), and Paul (Crystal); 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her son, Rev. J. Michael McFadden on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 12PM at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 11AM-12PM on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Homeland Center 1901 N.
