Obituary of Theodore J. Snyder
Theodore "Ted" J. Snyder, 51 from Harrisburg, PA died peacefully in his sleep Christmas morning, Sunday, December 25, 2016 after a 16 year battle with Huntington's Disease. Born August 3, 1965 in Fort Myers, FL, he was the son of the late Claude "Ted" Snyder and Martha (Lohse) Snyder. He was preceded in death by a very special brother-in-law, Bob Linne, and by his eldest sister Kathy Lehndorff, who also fought a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease and was cared for by her loving husband, Peter.
Ted is survived by his wife, Anita (Neeper) Snyder and his son Dillon who he loved so very much. Ted is also survived by five sisters and six brother-in-laws, Rebecca and Buzz Buchanan of Dallas, NC, Trisha and Ed Zendel of Santa Fe, NM, Lou Ann and Mike Biolchini of Grass Valley, CA, Mary Linne of Fort Myers, FL, Lisa and Jerry Miles of McKinleyville, CA and Peter Lehndorff of Hampden, MA. Ted is also survived by ten amazing nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ted was most proud of his service in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
