Obituary of Rose M. Ricci

Rose M. Ricci, 92, of Susquehanna Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Rose was born in Italy on September 17, 1928 and was a daughter to the late Bruno Garisto and Maria (Rosaria) Garisto. Rose came to the United States when she was 10 yrs. old and was raised by her mother’s sister Mary and Guy Manfred. Rose graduated from William Penn High School Class of 1947. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the Wednesday Club of Harrisburg. Rose enjoyed her volunteer work at Holy Spirt Hospital and the former Villa Theresa Nursing Home. Rose was past president of Bishop McDevitt music association. She also enjoyed live theatre and musicals. Rose especially loved time spent with her family. Rose was preceded in death by her husband Quentin A. Ricci (1975) Surviving are her brother, Vito Garisto and his wife Valerina of Lower Paxton Twp., a daughter in law Susan Ricci of Wayne, PA., and several Nieces and Nephews. She is also preceded in death by sons, Guy Ricci (2006) Philip Ricci (2015) a daughter, Rosemary Ricci (2017) sister’s, Caterina, Nicola, and a brother Domenico Garisto. There will be no viewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 2800 Paxton Church Road Harrisburg, PA.
