Obituary of Catherine V. McCormick

Catherine V. McCormick, 85, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away Thursday, September 10th, peacefully at Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg Area. Catherine was born in Doylestown, PA on February 10, 1930, a daughter to the late Anna Mae (Lyons) and William J. Happ. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Linglestown Garden Club, Armitage Ladies Golf Club, and Sentimentalist Choir. She also enjoyed bird watching and traveling. Surviving are her children; T. Michael and his wife Ann Jackson of Severna Park, Maryland, Mark M. and his wife Lugene A. of Duncannon, PA., William J. and his wife Paula J. of Sterling KS., Patrick S. of Harrisburg, Catherine A. McCormick and her husband Mitchell D. Bentley of Harrisburg, Theresa M. and her husband Christopher A. Anderson of Sterling, KS., a sister; Theresa G. Roney of Doylestown, PA., Grandchildren, Jennifer A. Kenney of Aurora CO., Tara K. Albright, Duncannon, PA., Lindsey A. Goetz of Enid, OK., Sean P. McCormick of Harrisburg, Collin C., Erin L., Hans M., Alan M. Anderson all of Sterling KS., Great grandchildren, Ashlyn K., Colton J., and Ethan J. and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church at 11 A.M. on Thursday, September 17, 2015. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 prior to the funeral mass.
