Catherine was a relative of my boyfriend, Patrick. I met her during the Mary from Dungloe Festival in 2018. Catherine introduced herself to me and welcomed me to sit with herself and her family for the evening. I heavily related to the irish American upbringing and enjoyed getting to know you all. Catherine’s presence was warm and welcoming. I am thankful I got to meet her and you all that day, she was a beautiful, lively and well traveled lady. I am so sorry for your lost

I remember ms Catherine and her stories she used to tell about her children, husband, and growing up in Ireland. I always looked forward to them and she would get happy when I asked her to tell me about her childhood. I had the pleasure of working with her at kindercare. She was a dear friend to me. She had a smile that would just light up the whole room and a great heart. I will truly miss her.

My deepest condolences to Ms Catherine’s family. She was the sweetest lady I ever had the pleasure to work with at KC. I loved hearing her sing to the babies and hearing stories of her childhood and Ireland.
My heart goes out to you all! What a blessing it was to have met and know her.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Catherine at Kindercare for about 3 years. She was such a consistent, dedicated, and warm worker. Ms. Catherine would bring such a sweet, happy energy into the building. She loved on each and every single child she came across. When I would talk with Ms. Catherine she would always encourage me and she would say the kindest things to me. Her love for children was absolutely admirable. She had such a strong faith that shone brightly through her and it encouraged my faith as well. I’m sending my deepest condolences to Ms. Catherine’s family and friends, who I know she cared for, loved, and prayed for. You will be missed Ms. Catherine! ❤️

Precious with a capital P
I heard Aunty Catherine say this many times on her trips home to Donegal. It may have been related to a story from long ago or it may have been something that the kids did to put a smile on her face but to her it was Precious and considered another memory stored.
Catherine was a beautiful, kind, gentle and caring person who allowed her faith to guide her through life. Today as she is laid to rest, I will hold my memories of her dear to my heart. Rest in Peace Aunty Catherine xxx

I was lucky to know Catherine for many years as a neighbor as well as a friend at the dog park. We became friends when she had Tucker and I had Snuffy, and we continued our friendship when she got Tank and I got Dash after our older dogs died. She delighted all of us with her beautiful Irish accent, her fun loving nature, and her friendliness to all who came to the dog park. She shared many stories about her family and day-to-day activities, and we all felt we knew her well. Her friends at the dog park are happy that her beloved Tank has a home with her family, and will continue to spend time with us at the dog park, where he will be welcome in many laps. We loved Catherine, and will miss her very much. Louanne Frederickson
