Obituary of Paul S. McCollum

Paul S. McCollum, 87, of Harrisburg transitioned home to glory on April 25, 2022. He was born October 15, 1934, in Saxton, PA, to James and Margaret McCollum. He is predeceased by his late wife Ginnie L. McCollum, sons Steven T. McCollum and Paul R. McCollum. He is survived by his twin brother Peter T. McCollum (Helen), daughter-in-law Nancy (Steven) son Rodney J. McCollum, daughters Katherine Buffington (Daniel), Kellie L. McCollum (fiancé Ben Krothe), Kimberly A. Zimmerman (Dean Rhea) and stepdaughter Ramona M. Applegarth, grandchildren Amy L. Dumez, Kiesha Young, Tyler Dumbaugh, Samantha Yerger, Andrew Stevens, and Christopher and Matthew Seip, great-grandchildren, Chloe Dumez, Chase Young, and Dalton and Wyatt Yerger. Paul retired from the Harrisburg Police Department and was a lifetime member of FOP Capital City Lodge #12. He retired from the PA Dept of Revenue in 2002. Paul was happiest on a golf course, fishing, watching a Phillies game and Penn National. Most of all time spent with his family and loved ones during birthdays, holidays, picnics, and horseshoes was his joy. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 A.M. May 4, 2022, at Shoop’s Cemetery Harrisburg, PA. In lieu of flowers please consider a Memorial contribution to The American Neuropathy Association.
