Obituary of Donna L. Robinson

Donna L. Robinson, 74, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully Sunday, August 6, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Donna was born in York, Pennsylvania, September 6, 1949 to late Oliver Cutlip and Janet Green who preceded her in death along with her daughter GyeGye Waxman of Lakeland, Florida, who passed in 2012. Donna’s Sister, Shirley Snelbaker also preceded her in death. Donna worked for York Snacks as a factory worker for many years as she raised her kids before ending her career with Sam’s Club. Donna is survived by her loving Life Partner whom have been together for 31 years since 1992, Joeseph Gownley, her daughter; Kiki (Todd) Grauel of Lingelstown, Pennsylvania, a brother Henry “Sonny” Cutlip of Dover, Pennsylvania, her sisters Betty Kornbau of Lakeland, Florida, Beverly Henry of Strinestown, Pennsylvania, Mary Kyle of Florida; her grandchildren Valeree ( Michael) Wells of Auburdale, Florida, Erric (Dezzaray) Higley of York, Pennsylvania, Zachary Schmidt of Linglestown, Pennsylvania, and Samuel Schmidt of Linglestown, Pennsylvania; her great grandchildren, Lillian Barton of Florida, Cortana Eder of York, Pennsylvania, Dominic Eder of York, Pennsylvania, and Cayden Higley of York, Pennsylvania. Donna was very passionate about the outdoors and loved whenever she would see a Robin, because she knew spring was coming. Donna loved bird watching as well as seeing all the wildlife and bee’s as spring would begin, she also loved gardening both flowers and growing her own food. Donna loved spending time with her family especially around the Holiday’s where she enjoyed lots of crafts. In her off time she would often color and paint as she loved her artistic side. A week before Donna’s passing her daughter Kiki had a dream that her sister GyeGye came to her in, and let her know that she was taking mom home, and everything was okay, which brought Joeseph, KiKi and the rest of the family lots of comfort.
