Obituary of Debra A. Steward

Debra Ann Steward 61; of Linglestown passed away peacefully on October 13, 2017 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1956 and was a daughter of the late Wayne A. and Constance M. (Magaro) Basham Beers. She was retired as a receptionist for the Ecumenical Community and was also a former dispatcher for the Penn Harris Taxi Co. She was a member of the Salvation Army, and attended Capital Bible Church. She enjoyed doing cross word puzzles, coloring, paint by numbers, and reading her bible. Surviving are Herman L. Beers Jr. the father that raised her after her biological father passed early in her life, her children, Michael M. Basham, Leslie M. Basham, Melissa A. Steward, Heather M. Marlow, brothers, William A., Robert A., George S., Thomas J., Basham, sisters, Gale M. Basham, Mary Lou Fair, and 12 grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband Russel E. Steward Jr. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Capital Bible Church 100 N. Hershey Rd. Harrisburg, PA. 17112.
