Gisele and I have been friends since our earliest days and I cherish that friendship. She was always upbeat and a kind and loving person. Nursing was the perfect profession for her. Her sense of humor and that great laugh - you could not resist laughing along with her. She handled her illness with such courage and grace, such an inspiration. She has gone to a better place but she will be greatly missed here.

There are so many memories of you flooding my mind. I couldn't have asked for a better additional mom. Even after not seeing you for years you were more than happy to see me when I dropped by; and were happy to finally meet Falesha officially and not while she was at the counter behind Giant (where you immediately recognized her from, Facebook too obviously, but you get what I mean).
I remember the times sitting in the living room laughing and watching tv with Nana too. I think the hardest time we laughed was when you officially said that my smelly feet smelled like buttered popcorn. I still think about that and laugh often.
Anytime the softball girls came to your home you had a smile on your face and welcomed us as your own. You were for sure one of the best Softball moms we had. Every time I was over you always appeared to be in a good mood. I loved all your knitting projects and still find them fascinating that you can keep focus for that long. I still have two scarves from you though. They take me back to the good times of high school every time I wear them. Thank you for giving me that nostalgia and being such an awesome person. Oh, and giving me one of my best friends!

I learned so much from Gisele and that lady could me laugh. I knew it was gonna be a good day in the HH ER when I worked with her. Her smile...that's what I'll remember most. Rest easy beautiful lady.

I worked with Giselle for many years at CGOH. Besides being an absolutely fantastic nurse, who genuinely cared for her patients, She always had a great sense of humor and a wide, bright, smile. She had a laugh that was infectious. She was always a joy to work with, even on the worst shift, she could lighten the mood. She really made a difference in her patients lives as well as in the lives of the people that she worked with. she will definitely be missed!

One of my best and dearest friends. When I first met her at HH ED she kind of scared me. But I got to know her and was blessed to have her in my life. So many fun memories and laughs. Got to watch her girls grow and even see her grandkids. I will miss her, especially her 'dirty whiskey laugh'. Godspeed Gisele, tell my folks hi when you see them. See you later!

I’ve known Gisele since my earliest memories as a child. As she lived right behind me, I cherish the many memories we created in those formative years for both of us. Some of the memories that stand out are walking to school together (carrying her books, of course), the “Hill” softball league, laughing at her plentiful funny stories and jokes, sprint car races, and many occasions of having interesting conversations at their kitchen table looking out over the town. She was such a spirited individuals who maintained a positive attitude all the way to the end of her earthly life. I know she is in a special place now in the presence of her mom and dad. We will miss you immensely…
