Carl A. “Sonny” Speroff Jr., age 84; of Harrisburg, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Sonny was born on March 14, 1940 in Harrisburg and was a son to the late Carl A. Speroff Sr. and Faye (Bardell) Speroff. He was employed by and was still working at Consolidated Scrap Resources with over 55 years of service. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Sonny was a member of the Capital City Cruisers with his “48 Chevy”, was a diehard Minnesota Vikings Fan, Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR “# 21 Kenny Schrader”
Surviving are his loving wife of over 51 years, Gina A. (Marsico) Speroff, a son, Carl A. Speroff III, daughters, Michelle L. Homes, Shelia A. Brokos, a brother, William Speroff, a sister, Ellen Kertulis, grandchildren, Stephanie, Anthony, Jamel, Andre, Marcus, Carl IV, Cory, Danielle, great grandchildren, Kylie, Tyler, Alexander, Aiden, Sophia and Leo.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sisters, Tina Hoover, Sally Corsnitz, Barb Hailey.
A viewing will be held at the Dailey Funeral Home on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm., and from 10 to 11 am., Saturday, January 18, 2025. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 1439 Market St Harrisburg, PA 17103.
