Obituary of Edmund A. Brenner
Edmund A. Brenner Jr., 82 years old passed away on April 23rd at the Holy Spirit Hospital. Born on August 9, 1934 he was the son of the late Edmund A. Brenner Sr. and A. Josephine (Sneeringer) Brenner. He is survived by his brother Bob and his wife Brenda (Eddies' BFF) A graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and Mount Saint Mary College. He had a long career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and was still working and walking two miles a day for the commute. Eddie loved everything about Bishop McDevitt and was a fixture at most football and basketball games. For Eddie 2016 was a dream came true year as his beloved Chicago Cubs won their first World Series in over a century. All those years of frustration were finally worth it. Eddie was a member of Good Shepherd parish for over 40 years and before that Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. He loved to drive by the old church to bring back fond memories Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 A.M. A reception will follow in the church social hall. Burial will be private. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides at Holy Spirit for their efforts and kindness during Eddie's stay. A special thanks to Deacon Gorman and Father Iroot.
