Obituary of Ana L. Spaeder

Ana L. Spaeder, 86, of Susquehanna, Twp., passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her home. Ana was born in Brooklyn, NY., on December 31, 1927, a daughter of the late Leonora (Mathesoian) and Eduardo Acevedo. Ana was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, where she was involved in teaching Spanish and its PREP classes. She was also a former member of St. Joan of Arc, of Hershey. Ana was the widow of John C. Spader. (2007) Ana is survived by two daughters, Midge Spaeder Loery, of Redding, CT; Mary M. Spaeder, of Hershey, PA; four sons Nick, of Sequim, WA; Michael, of New Cumberland, PA; Dave, of Elpaso, TX; Tom, of Lancaster, PA., a sister; Edda Bennet of Franklin, NC., 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. Ana was predeceased by a son JEF Spaeder. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2014. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dailey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to St. Margaret Mary Building Fund 2800 Paxton Church Rd. Harrisburg, PA. 17110.
