Dear Adam, Samantha, Ebert and Kisthardt Families,
I’m truly sorry and saddened by your loss and I have been at a total loss for words and still somewhat in disbelief. Reflecting on Tina, there is no sadness as you can’t help but think of her smile, even in her final days still smiling. Adam, The true life love story of you two made is one of enduring certainty and one the countless others admire and although the two of your earned it you are still very lucky for it. Most people will never experience what the two of you have in both love and life. It’s admirable, fulfilling, and nothing, not even a shred to regret. You both never lost the teenage spirit in love and life, still making late night road trips on a whim, and always saying “yes” to each other and supporting one another’s desires. Even in passing and dealing with this horrible disease, head on a true warrior, she never lost that zest for life, you, and Sammi. Never complained, never skipped a beat from the same old Tina, boy did her character shine through, for a good part of the time there was no way anyone could tell she was even ill. I think that may be because she didn’t think of herself as ill, she was just dealing with life, head on figuring it out and she kept squeezing every ounce out of it in an unbelievable fashion. I’m proud to have know her, I’m honored she called me her friend.
